Thanks Jesse, that sounds like an awesome ideea. However i think the people in the dating business (the site owners) will have a difficult time explaining the new restrictions to the male population. Also, as a side effect, as some male users might get angry about having to change their tactic (sending a lot of similar messages with a small chance of getting a response) - and might leave the site for other dating apps/platforms that don't have this restriction. And that means losing money for the site owners. Even if the quality of the user experience goes up, the user number might actually go down, and that's not a good business model.
I think it's another of those ways in which capitalism makes for crappy products and services - there's more money in them.

The only thing I like about POF is their message filters. Pictures must be attached and messages must have a minimum amount of characters. But men being men (women probably do it too, not sure as I can only speak from my experience) they will send a 3-word message with million a symbols attached to reach the minimum of characters for the message to be sent and one of those guys had " writer" as a profession...

I am not afraid to meet men, as long as it is in a public place. But some men are just looking for chats it seems.

Online dating is your worst nightmare! Loved your article by the way :)
